Review & looks | e.l.f. Geometric 96 Piece Eyeshadow Palette
The online budget brand e.l.f. regularly adds new products to its make-up range, and today I am showing you one of the newest additions to the e.l.f. Studio line: the e.l.f. Geometric 96 Piece Eyeshadow Palette.
The palette contains 96 colors, and with its geometrical pattern it
looks really cool. Big gimme-gimme-gimme factor if you ask me!
Just look at how awesome it looks! Like I said, there are 96
eyeshadow colors in the new e.l.f. Geometric 96 Piece Eyeshadow Palette,
and they all have a matte or slightly shimmery finish. The texture of
the eyeshadow is fine and soft and the pigmentation is okay. Just make
sure to really get in the powder with your brush and to pack it on your
eyelid, and then you will definitely get the color intensity you want
and you will be able to create super fun looks with the palette. I also
get the impression that the color becomes more intense once the top
layer of the eyeshadow comes off. So the more you use the colors, the
more intense they will get. The wear of the eyeshadow is fine and with a
good primer the colors keep their intensity all day long without fading
or creasing.
Don’t let the size of the palette or the fact that there are 96
colors to choose from intimidate you, because even though the colors
seem to be put in the palette at random, there is actually a system. The
96 shades are divided in 16 squares that all hold 6 colors. And those 6
colors always go perfectly together. When you look closely you will
see that there is for example a square with chocolatey shades, one with
blues and greens, one with pink and purple shades, and so on. Now of
course you can just combine whatever colors you want from the palette –
there are no rules in make-up – but if you don’t know how to combine
shades then you can just rely on the square system.
I am nowhere near done playing with my new e.l.f. Geometric 96 Piece
Eyeshadow Palette, but I already want to show you five eye looks that I
created with it, including swatches. Let’s have a look together!
